This movie is totally different, and involves pure determination. The only time to give up, is when you're dead, and we aint dead yet. This film is a true story, of one's struggle to complete the mission, and is a good inspiration for the younger generation.

The Big Row is linked to Sharks and Other Monsters - because Mayor Island is where it all originated. We had to row to the Mayor, just had to. I didn't realise it was going to be so difficult. We got there, even though me guts had to be cut open just after. Read the book, you know we're not crook.

We first started making this movie in February 1996. The drive was there - we have been through the grinding process - but have learned plenty.
